 Mission of NOW

NOW's goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. NOW works to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society; secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women; end all forms of violence against women; eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and promote equality and justice in our society.

  • Response to Arson attack on Presidential Women's Center
  • Clinic Defense-on the Second Saturday of each Month, members assist patients of the Presidential Women's Center obtain services.
  • Response to Presidential Women's Center Arsen
  • Response to Lake Worth Clinic Attack
  • Emergency Contraception Action-Rallies, Sending Letters, Calling local hospitals and pharmacies.

  • Election Campaign Support: Voter Registration-Issue Forums

PARENTS' GROUP FORMING

Hi parents-

Are you tired of taking your children to groups that are either faith-based or centered around fundraisers?

Does it always feel like the other parents are competitive, or rushed?

Let's get together and find ways to empower and encourage each other, with positive and kind parenting activities.

Join us for a discussion on progressive and feminist parenting ideas, babysitting co-ops, and non-judgmental playgroups.
