Tuesday March 18, FL NOW LOBBY DAY IN TALLAHASSEE! 

 

Meet our legislators on the first day of the new session to lobby for the ERA, protecting reproductive rights, combating racism, ending violence against women, securing LGBT rights, & more.

Demonstrate at the corner of the Wellington Mall, State Road 441 and Forest Hill Blvd.   With PB County Peace and Justice Coalition, of which NPBC NOW is a member.

►Thursday March 27, 7:00 PM, Town Meeting on the (anti) Marriage Amendment.

►Saturday and Sunday March 29 and 30, PB COUNTY PRIDEFEST & MARCH!    Let’s make some noise to show NOW’s support for lesbian rights.   

 

We will join with members of South PB County NOW and the Young Activists Team to table at the festival, noon to 4 PM Sat. and 1 PM to 4 PM Sun. at Bryant Park, Lake Avenue and the Intracoastal, Lake Worth.   Call 310-4873 to sign up.

On Sunday, we will meet at Lake and J Street, Lake Worth at 11:30 AM for the march.  Wear your fabulous feminist finery.  Step off is at noon!

Morning After Pill Pharmacy survey. When you are in a superstore or pharmacy, ask the pharmacist if they have Plan B (should be yes), if you need a prescription (should be no if you are over 18), and how much it costs. If you are older, it is OK to say you are checking for a daughter or granddaughter. Report positive/negative experiences  to npbcnow@aol.com with location, day and time. We will give awards to supportive pharmacies.
